Orrie Emma Wood or "Kitty" as she was known, was married to Gate Mudaliar K. C. Barr Kumarakulasinghe in late 1800's. These are articles of the tragic and yet a life filled of hope of this strange American missionary woman who had entered the Barr-Kumar family in the late 18th century
